Pros

Wages and benefits are good. Good work life balance, when you ask for the time off, it's usually approved. On site staff is friendly and easy to work with. The physical structure is safe. Great location.

Cons

Organizational heirachy is chaotic. They will not train or support you. Financial aid is a mess and the work load is massive. 500+ students for one person. Financial aid is decentralized, so your boss is in another state. They divide the FA work unfairly.

The building is really nice.

Cons

After taxes, I get paid the same as unemployment for 15 hours of work per week. There are unpaid trainings that seem to be randomly due. These required trainings have no pre-assessment to determine what level of educator an adjunct is at and for me all of the trainings this far have been a waste of my time.
