Pros
Making a difference in Higher Education, Friendly culture, Competitive health benefits, Tuition waiver for all dependents; Would recommend working at ASU as long as you are not in IT. AZ state retirement benefit only if you started early in your career.
Cons
Low salaries and not created equal across the various departments. No opportunity for professional growth or training due to time constraints. Over allocated resources. Top heavy. High yearly parking dues and sometimes still have to park about a block away to get to the building you work in or have to walk through heavily traffic intersections.
