      Pros

      Arizona state univ engineering school has a good environment for researching. The program is great. Working as a research assistant and gained great experience.

      Cons

      Salary is not competitive but as a phd student the main purpose is learning, so I'm OK with this. Another issue is the increasing tuition which seems never stop increasing.

      Great atmosphere and truly excellent benefits. Every day is a little different.

      Cons

      Need to wear a lot of different hats and understand both the academic and business sides, which can be challenging. Having to pay for parking.

      Very flexible working schedule and super friendly supervisors. It is a great place to work overall.

      Cons

      Continuous monitoring of your work and your time on calls can feel intimidating, but overall, the staff is very supportive.
