Pros
For much of what ASU does, it is the only game in town.
Cons
So-called annual "merit raises" are, maximum, 3% while annual inflation is 4 - 8%. There are no cost of living adjustments. This means staff effectively earn less every year they work for ASU. Calling this a "raise" is demoralizing.
