Pros

if you get into a friendly team, it is a great workplace. some people are easier to get along with than others, but overall it is a welcoming environment.

Cons

incredibly layered hierarchy, often you're not sure who the decision maker is, and it can take weeks to get an answer to questions. For such a progressive thinking company, I think they need to streamline the decision making.

Thanks for leaving a review of your internship! We pride ourselves on making the work environment one that is inclusive and friendly, and I'm happy to read that you experienced that during your internship. The approach smaller companies take to make decisions is drastically different than that of a large company. Since we have grown rather quickly in the last few years, we have had to change our way of thinking in how we approach decision making, as you are absolutely right that process can be streamlined to be more efficient. That being said, we do hope to see you back at ARM once you complete your studies either as another summer internship or as a Graduate Engineering position. -Rick C. Social Recruiting Manager

Pros

Work-Life Balance: Widely praised for flexible hybrid schedules and a supportive, low-pressure environment. Standout Perks: Highly rated for its 4-week paid sabbatical program and quarterly "Days of Care" company-wide days off. Collaborative Culture: Features a friendly, ego-free workplace that strongly emphasizes a "we, not I" team mentality. Strong Benefits: Offers excellent overall compensation, including valuable stock options (RSUs) and comprehensive healthcare.

Cons

Pace of Work: Some employees note that projects and decision-making can move slowly due to the relaxed culture.
