Pros

Salaries are high in order to capture talent's interest It is possible to have a remote work arrangement I worked in EMEA region and had the opportunity to interact with people from different cultural backgrounds, that makes it very interesting and fun I have always found a good attitude and good manners from work colleagues, despite any work challenges I made good friends to whom I am still connected

Cons

Don't set any expectations in terms of Position titles. Use Job descriptions to understand the main aspects of your role, responsibilities, scope, etc before you say yes. Expect to find a complex scenario to admin, especially if you are working in non productive \ Non sales areas such as HR, Finance, etc. The company has grown significantly in the past years by mergers and aquisitions, there is A LOT to do in terms of standardization, from very basic to very comprehensive. There are many global projects going on from different areas, sometimes very challenging to put together in order to clearly visualize which, where and when you can add value. Constant change of priorities and lack of clearly defined roles and responsibilities, when not properly managed/addressed by leaders, can make you feel dizzy and loose the sense of purpose and ownership. I worked for HR and the turnover in this team is rather high. Every so often we were saying goodbye to someone and hello to a replacement. I can't really say I grew a sense of belonging, but I can tell that I often felt that the main rule is to work in silos, despite the fact that we were in pandemic times. I didn't feel compeled to do my best, I was not motivated to strive for excellence and that really demotivated me. In time, I lost interest of working because I couldn't see myself adding value by working on a stand alone mode.

Pros

I had a very positive experience interning at Arrow Electronics. The management team was supportive and approachable, and communication was clear and consistent throughout my time there. Expectations were well‑defined, and I always knew where to go if I had questions or needed guidance. My coworkers were professional, knowledgeable, and easy to work with, which made collaboration smooth and enjoyable. Arrow also has a strong support system in place for interns, which helped create an environment where learning and growth were encouraged. Overall, Arrow Electronics provided a well‑structured and professional internship experience, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to have been part of the team. I would recommend Arrow to students looking for a solid and supportive internship environment.

Cons

I truly cannot think of much other than IT related hurdles which slowed down progress on my projects initially.
