Pros

You get some money for showing up during training. A company car with more strings attached than a 17th century puppet. Co-workers are genuinely cool for the most part. You can move up if you make the right friends.

Cons

You have to wait 30 days for your first paycheck and when you quit, you get your final pay and that's it ( I lost 3 weeks of pay). The pay is miserably low, the health insurance is absurdly high and they work you to death. They tell you "Sales makes their own leads." You do dozens and dozens of WDO inspections for free and nobody ever buys. This is the only company that celebrates how much "Free" work they make their employees do. They make their employees read the "mission and vision" every Friday morning like a cult and if you don't, you will be disciplined. Don't stop at the grocery store on your way home in the company car because they'll discipline you for that too. You have to pay $130.00 per month to use the company car for commuting, $7.00 per pay for uniforms, and they force you to pay for a cancer plan at $28 per month that you never even sign up for. Management plays favorites and everybody else gets dumped on. All positions are straight commission or hourly below the poverty line. They monitor all of your communication and time spent with co-workers on and off the clock and they question you about it the next morning or on Monday. They have almost created a God out of their CEO and you may never criticize or disagree with anything she says or does. You will pay with your job. Co-workers are encouraged and rewarded for snitching on each other for stupid stuff like taking the company vehicle to the store, going to a doctor's appointment or looking for another job.

First, thank you for taking the time to express your thoughts and sentiments. We are sincerely apologetic to have missed the mark for you. As with any of our current or former employees, we invite you to engage in a continued conversation by emailing us at arrowcares@arrowexterminators.com. We take pride in leading the market in both competitive pay and benefits offerings. While many companies average 11-20% increases in benefits cost each year, Arrow has minimized its increases to around 3% for our Core Plan and 0% increases for our Core Family Plan and HDHP plans. Almost 70% of our premiums are paid by our owners. We also offer a variety of terrific voluntary products including disability products and cancer policies that are never required. One product that we are pleased to offer free of cost is a $30k life insurance policy to all full-time Arrow Team Members. We also offer technicians the option to take their company vehicles to and from work for a small fee to cover additional insurance premiums and maintenance. This is a popular benefit as it saves Team Members costs in fuel and vehicle wear and tear. Because of insurance liabilities, there are some restrictions on the personal use of company vehicles. Not only do we offer competitive compensation and stellar benefits, we also take enormous pride in our culture and values. There is no one that emulates these principles more than our own President and CEO. Our mission and vision statements are at the core of how we do business. Therefore, we are admittedly a little fanatical about reminding our Team Members and ourselves all about them. Finally, there is nothing more humbling than the realization that our Team Members are at the root of our success. We understand that each of our Team Members work dutifully to bring our service commitments and values to the doorsteps of our customers. We have a long history of rewarding and recognizing those that have demonstrated excellence. We regret if you did not experience this during your tenure here. It sounds like we did not meet your expectations. We want to thank you for your comments and for making Arrow a part of your journey. We wish you continued success. -Respectfully, Arrow Exterminators Human Resources

Pros

If you like cults it's cool. Half of the meetings are watching the rich owners fluff their feathers and call you rockstars, and you have to listen to them cheer. It's insane. You'd swear it's a movie, it seems so fake. Bazaar!

Cons

Toxic. They steal sales. It's a boys club. It's a cult. They literally have a pledge they do. Way too many mandatory meetings that you have to arrive early to participate in before your work day starts. Small amount of PTO as a mom, if your kids get sick and you've used your few days, you're sol because no option for unpaid days, you just get written up. You don't make a living wage, and the ceiling hits at management which you have to be in the boys club to get that position.
