Pros

Friendly work environment, enjoyed the local work culture and fellow employees, a chance to work at your own pace with incentives to increase work volume and sales. Great philosophy for pest management. One on one training, knowledgeable staff and trainers. Always something new, never boring, plenty of challenges and chances to turn lemons into lemonade. Chance to work with people in the office and independently in the field. Can set your own pace.

Cons

Low pay, despite extra work and sales. Lack of transparency between upper management and staff. High turn over rates, lack of stable, dependable management. Company claims it's all about solving problems, not about sales, but the underlying focus is always on sales. The only way you can improve your meager paycheck is through selling. Lack of follow up from management to customers. Big pump up talks and showy prizes for selling, but minimal actual benefits to employees. Only 5 days off in the first year. Commission pay means no pay for holidays. Low charges on old accounts means minimal commission for very needy customers. Payments for uniforms and boots come out of your own paycheck despite the way they make it sound like a shiny perk. The pep talks sure do sound encouraging, but the follow-through just didn't show.

Pros

If you like cults it's cool. Half of the meetings are watching the rich owners fluff their feathers and call you rockstars, and you have to listen to them cheer. It's insane. You'd swear it's a movie, it seems so fake. Bazaar!

Cons

Toxic. They steal sales. It's a boys club. It's a cult. They literally have a pledge they do. Way too many mandatory meetings that you have to arrive early to participate in before your work day starts. Small amount of PTO as a mom, if your kids get sick and you've used your few days, you're sol because no option for unpaid days, you just get written up. You don't make a living wage, and the ceiling hits at management which you have to be in the boys club to get that position.
