Pros
Flexibility for some employees when needed
Cons
Severe and grossly unapologetic displays of nepotism. Opportunities, perks and gifts lavished on only personal friends and family members of the owners and on the friends & family of their leaders (who are more often than not, their own family members). Most everyone is related to someone else working there. Doesn’t make for good business sense or fairness. No consistency in treatment of people. Case by case on promotions and punishments. Many over titled, under qualified or unqualified individuals making big decisions based purely on emotion and not on business logic or merit. Many in charge have never worked anywhere else ever so they see no harm or do not understand poor management tactics. Employees in good standing that resign, who are not juiced into the company by blood or friendship, are verbally slandered after their departure.
