      Pros

      I would give zero stars if I could. I have only delayed my review because people I cared about were still employed there until recently. When I first started AMI seemed like a promising opportunity with fair pay, growth potential and I liked most of the people I was working with. Then the revolving door started and I began to notice unhealthy trends. As I moved up and interacted more and more with our leadership, I came to realize it was not the place for me anymore. I questioned the ethics of leadership and I saw a sinking ship. I also witnessed several rock stars in the industry leave to competitors for the same reason.

      Cons

      AMI had close to 30 producers when I started, and I would be shocked if they have more than 4 employees in production at this time. I left a few years ago and not a single producer I worked with is still there since my resignation. Their average tenure is less than two years and their retention rate must be the worst in the industry. This reflects poor leadership and not knowing how to treat your employees. I could go more in-depth, but I do not want this post to get flagged and this message not is seen. I would suggest to not derail your career by going to a toxic place like AMI or utilizing them for "professional services". They do not act in the best interest of their clients or employees. They almost ruined the industry for me until I realized there were several better companies out there. This post is way overdue, and I know numerous other employees who feel the same. I saw my old company, AMI, show up on my Glassdoor and I was appalled that they had a good score. I did not think it was a fair representation for potential employees or clients.

      First let me thank you for taking the time to write your review. We live in a society where more often than not differing opinions are frowned upon. That is not the case at AMI. We are sorry you feel your experience was so poor. I would like to offer a few counters to consider. Our average tenure is sitting at 5.4 years. Over the last two years we have had 1 employee resign of their own accord. Our production staff is well north of 4 employees. :) AMI isnt the place for everyone, and we certainly have dealt with our own share of growing pains. We are a private company in an industry loaded with competition, it is hard going! Our leadership is constantly evolving, and while in the past some may have felt we were "too rigid" that has changed as well. We are in the midst of a massive digital transformation, and are now growing at a rapid pace. Our current partners would tell you we offer a flexible lifestyle, strong compensation, multiple perks, and a family like atmosphere. The future is bright, even if to some the past was bleak.       Autonomy, Flexibility, Collaborative Team Environment, Family-like Culture, Work Hard-Play Hard.

      Cons

      Medical benefits could always be better, but I imagine that is comparable to most places these days.

      Pros

      Great company to work for. The company provides a great training program for new hires. AMI has a very competitive benefit package and pays very well. The company pays a base salary and commission. The culture is very unique and very fun to be apart of. Sales can be very stressful so it is nice working with friendly employees to keep the stress levels low. The company takes a lot of pride in their employees. AMI is constantly thinking of ways to improve their employees personal and professional lives. The company promotes based on production not who you know in the company. If you are looking for a place where you can make a lot of money this is the place. The company celebrates wins by taking trip to places like Aruba and Mexico. They also take team building trip. If you meet production budget they also give their employees flex Fridays. If you are looking for a great place to work this is the place. The company is growing and it is a perfect time to join.

      Cons

      If you do not want to work hard this is not the company for you. If you do not want to pursue your dreams this is not the company for you. If you look for excuses AMI is not for you. The company looks for hard people who have a common goal.
