Not sure if HR and People Operations are truly this oblivious or are intentionally disingenuous.
- Scheduling mandatory in-person meetups during major religious holidays shows a lack of consideration for diverse observances.
- Sending an employee a block of wood to celebrate milestones under the pretense of planting a tree seems unnecessary and wasteful.
- Volunteer events focus more on the photo opps than actual meaningful community impact.

Management usually disregards employee recommendations that do not align with their plans. This frequently leads to top-down directives and unrealistic deadlines. Employees who voice concerns or suggestions are often subject to PIPs or sudden dismissal.
There has been a significant emphasis on anything AI, whether the products are actually useful or not.
