      Pros

      Health, 401K, and other fringe benefits are good. The people are generally nice and intelligent.

      Cons

      Large international company with a solid top-down structure doesn't allow for much upward mobility but maybe some lateral growth. Work-life balance gets off kilter sometimes due to hardworking culture.

      Pros

      Working at Arup was a great experience, surrounded by smart, motivated, and mission-driven peers.

      Cons

      This may have since improved, but at least previously, the America's region felt rather second-class compared to UK. Most/all senior leadership, even in the US, was British.

      Pros

      great supervisor, lots of professional development opportunities

      Cons

      insane workload and expect you to be available for work 24/7. some teams are drowning and others have no resourcing. layoffs happen completely randomly and they lay off people who are 100 percent billable. profit share is bs and you get nothing as a junior member
