Cons
The level of engineers in HCM office is very low, even the leaders don't understand structural behavior. They can only deal with the gravity system, they don't understand about lateral resistance system, load path. The reason is because they only have enough knowledge to focus on section level, such as bending, shear, PMM design for a section. They don't have enough knowledge to understand global level. That makes they build FEA models like kids. But they believe they are good with Oasys support, the truth is they can't even design a small structure without Oasys software. Linear elastic analysis still to hard for them, forget about nonlinear analysis. They have absolutely no clue. The salary is low. I'm just talking about HCM office. The other offices are good.
