Pros
Some incredibly sharp minds are there. It makes for a fun environment to be in and learn from. Some of the products are quite impressive.
Cons
Could not be more poorly staffed at the top. Loaded with incompetence from middle managers on up. Some positive changes were made at the lower levels and started to see positive changes last year in the sales talent but the mismanagement of finances, poor spending choices, and poor hires in mid-management have left some scratching their heads with questions on the viability of the company. Key points: hiring in a ton of account management people before the account base was large enough to support it; running basically without a CTO (someone sits in the seat but he is not effective) for a year or more; building out an amazing office in one of the most expensive areas of downtown San Francisco just to appease the ego of the CEO; incompetence in financial reporting resulting in a HUGE layoff last month really highlights this;
