Pros

Great coworkers and colleagues Remote work

Cons

Young, first-time CEO put in place by Pacific Lake Partners. There are no account executives actively selling because they've been forced out of the company by the CEO. Lots of talk about complex management theory that the leadership team has little experience with themselves, let alone implementing, and forces onto managers without adequate training and support. Young, white males with limited to no career experience and zero industry experience will make more than veteran females with significant career and domain experience. Unless you come in through the CEO's network or are connected to Pacific Lake Partners, you will be underpaid. No one believes the product timeline fed to them by leadership. No referenceable customers. Terrible employee experience. New hires and employees are offered roles that they can grow into and promised future promotions but never get the support or development promised and needed to grow themselves. End result is that they find themselves subject to the wrath of leadership that put them in the position in the first place when they don't meet leadership's unreasonable, poorly communicated, and regularly changing goals.

Pros

It's a fantastic small company with close knit relationships and people that genuinely care about each other.

Cons

As a small company, today's chaotic business climate is just plain scary, although they've weather it well so far.

Pros

There are some good benefits like summer Friday's and lifelong learning reimbursement. The people, outside of the senior leadership team, are some of the nicest and most genuine people I've interacted with at any company.

Cons

Senior leadership. They aren't looking out for their employees. The good benefits are lures for new employees, but once you're in the company they don't care about you. Transparency and openness are rewarded with cold shoulders from senior leadership and eventual layoffs if your thinking isn't in line with theirs. HR does not seem to be there to look out for the employees, they are there to look out for the senior leadership only. "Anonymous" reviews are requested, but rarely are anonymous with comments made by the CEO and COO repeatedly if they are given poor reviews.
