Pros
Good stepping stone for future endeavors.
Cons
Terrible leadership often resulting in discriminatory workplace practices going unnoticed or pushed under the rug even when brought to the attention of HR. You can excel here if you look like everyone else, but as a minority it can be very uncomfortable experiencing racial bias and witnessing favoritism on a daily basis. Unrealistic deadlines, micromanagement and very old technology. The work life balance is horrible with work from home opportunities only being awarded to those who are part of the club. It’s no surprise that the turnover rate is very high at this company and the billing department in particular. Should you bring to light the fact that your growing workload was often times double and triple what other employees were responsible for each day, management then begins to devise creative ways to terminate you or have you quit.
