Pros

Good for starting out in the industry. Large workload so you will learn alot. Transfers amount teams is high. Good pto, work from home one day per week.

Cons

No upward movement unless you are an ace all the way around. If you're good at what you do, workload increases, expectations double, compensation does not meet responsibility. Management does not take recommendations seriously. Then, when a problem occurs, they pay attention, take your recommendation..and the credit. Difficult to get management to listen. Too many senior management. If you're good, depending on who you work for, you get locked into that position. Computer systems are slow. Health care gets more expensive each year. .dont get sick unless you can pay for it. All the rewards received in the industry dont mean a thing with low morale and good associates looking to get out.

Pros

Excellent manager and team with streamlined processes. Benefits are greater than what I have seen in a majority of other businesses. The IT team generally moves very quick to resolve issues. HR/Hiring team was very quick and informative.

Cons

Only have two monitors when three would offer more efficiency. Although many tasks have SOPs and guides, some guides might not be updated (IE I found a guide that had the incorrect naming convention for a file). Any study materials needed to obtain relevant professional credentials are not covered by Ascensus. Obtaining relevant professional credentials also does not provide you with any bonus. You must wait a minimum of 12 months in your current position before wanting to change/pursue other job opportunities at Ascensus. The career ladder, at least in the Compliance team, seems rather narrow and limited.
