Pros
* Ability to work remotely, if managers are pushed. * Interesting people to work with, unless they leave, which seems more likely nowadays. * An evolving field that the company could take advantage of, but Twilio and AWS Connect are hot on their heels.
Cons
* Sales sells products that barely exist. * Massive lack of middle management leadership which leads to unclear goals across the board, specifically in R&D. * Not taking Twilio and AWS competition seriously. * All US jobs seem to be moving to India (r&d), China (language + docs), and Ireland (r&d). * Their so called cloud products are completely hosted, unsecured, and a complete mess. * Want to be agile R&D, in reality, atrocious safe framework used instead. Avoid if you actually want to be agile. * Dev-ops? More like mess-ops. * Flagship product isn't a product, it's 17 different websites. All different. All of different quality. * Flagship product built on top of iframes. Hello 1999. * Somebody called the Bob's, they're firing everyone. (After a while, the Office Space quotes lingering around the office became a bit ironic.)
