Pros
I was highly impressed with the talent of Aspect's engineers, and my direct supervisor was wonderful. Most member of my team had been with the company for 5 or more years, which is highly unusual in software, and points to a high level of overall job satisfaction.
Cons
During my tenure, there were some major changes to structure and process, which made things chaotic and unpredictable. We were forced to go Agile, throwing out a good development process that had been honed over many years. My team was half in Tennessee and half in Ireland, which did not provide the most efficient means of collaboration. Scrum teams should be local, but unfortunately many companies simply ignore this important point.
