Pros
Completely remote Good benefits Friendly co-workers This is a great position for an entry level attorney who’s interested in non-litigation work, or an attorney who wants to be remote and is willing to not make great money.
Cons
High stress job and low paying compared to other associate attorney positions. The workload is impossible and you feel like you are constantly behind. Upper management puts a lot of stress on employees to stay on top of a nearly impossible workload. Working weekends also feels like it’s expected - you are compensated extra but rarely are you getting ahead on your workload, you are basically working the weekend to catch up on stuff that you fell behind on.
