Pros
A few good people who want to see change.
Cons
Run from this company, fast. If you’re an employee, your career and knowledge will stagnate as you become bogged down in one of the most toxic, stale and unnecessarily political companies you can imagine. Your friends will thrive elsewhere while you hope for 3% and maybe a title promotion. If you speak up, you’re labeled and bullied. HR is powerless and incompetent. The leadership protects each other with no concern for customers, employees or performance. If you’re a customer, ask which of the 3 softwares they are pitching you, the differences between them and why? Talk to C-leadership and see if they understand your needs. This will be all you need to consider a different group. There are countless better solutions for half the price with twice the functionality. If you proceed, get firm SLAs in writing with penalties for poor performance or you will be sorry. If you’re thinking about being acquired, ask for proof and get everything in writing. The only marketing you will hear is around their focus on talent development. This is a lie. They are no different from any other acquirer/PE firm in this space and won't pay you nearly as much. If you do sell, your people will stagnate as lifers work against them when they try to integrate. Any innovation your company has will be completely sterilized as your legacy is destroyed. If you’re a shareholder of their parent company, Constellation, sell. This company and its subsidiaries are so insulated by leadership and their loyalists that any outside influence or ideas around improvements are quickly eliminated. Any positive reviews on this company we’re done by current employees in HR or marketing who are desperate for recognition or were forced.
