Pros
Associa has been an amazing company to work for. I have been with the company for 9 years. I've held multiple titles in my career with Associa. I started as an onsite maintenance man. When I wanted to transition into the management side, the company was open to give me a position as an administrative assistant and help me get the training and certification that was required to be a community manager in Florida. When I had to move to California, the HR team and upper management were extremely helpful and connected me with a position in one of the California offices and most recently when I explained issues with my family life schedule the company has been beyond accommodating including transferring me to an office a lot closer to my house. They're constantly rewarding the employees and recognizing good work. The upper management team is extremely personable and approachable. I've had a great experience working for Associa.
Cons
I've heard they don't pay as much as maybe some other community management companies but I've also seen and heard of a lot of employees leaving for other management companies and then coming back to Associa. There's often a lot of changes to the processes which can sometimes make it hard to keep up with the latest way to do things but I think this is a sign that the company is always working to better itself.
