Pros

I worked in the IT dept. where there were many people who were awesome to work with and I became friends with. When I left ASAM I landed a really good job partly because of the work done with this great dept.

Cons

The cons were other people that weren't good were just horrible. Quite frankly anyone that didn't have a college degree in engineering or software were insecure about their job and spent have half their time working and then half the time talking bad about the other co workers so they can try keep their jobs. This jungle mentally is caused because the company is financially weak and the workers are basically trained to stab each other in the back. I've never heard the phrase, "did you hear how (insert name here) threw (insert name here) under the bus!" As far as outside the IT dept, ASAM seemed like pure hell to work for.. Like the customer service dept.?! I felt sorry for those people .. The look on their faces reminded me of the Hebrew slaves in Egypt in movie Ten Commandments

Change is hard - and internal talk tracks are hard to manage. We speak regularly about sharing information openly, with authenticity - it's hard to do! All we can do is encourage openness, and expect that the focus on doing great work is the focus everyone shares all day long!

Pros

The people are wonderful and the culture is great. It is exciting to be a part of a company that is growing at a rapid pace, in people, premiums, and product diversity.

Cons

The biggest issue we have is with communication. However, this is actively being addressed by leadership for improvement.

Pros

I have had a very positive experience working here. The company has built a culture that genuinely values its employees, fosters collaboration, and encourages professional growth. Leadership is accessible and transparent, and there is a clear commitment to supporting team members both personally and professionally. It is an exciting time to be part of the organization. The company is growing strategically and thoughtfully, creating opportunities for employees to contribute in meaningful ways and expand their careers. There is a strong sense of shared purpose and momentum that makes coming to work each day rewarding. What stands out most is the company’s commitment not only to its employees but also to the communities it serves. There is a sincere focus on making a positive impact, and that mission-driven approach is reflected in daily operations and decision-making. Overall, this is a company where people are respected, growth is encouraged, and community impact matters. I am proud to be part of the team and look forward to what the future holds.

Cons

As the organization scales, there is an opportunity to further standardize processes across teams to ensure consistency and efficiency.
