I have worked with Assurety Consulting for more than 7years in a federal contract. Normally, it takes about two weeks to get a badge after your security background is cleared. It also takes about two to three weeks to get a secured work computer. It is normal to be escorted within the building during that period and to have little work to do while waiting for your computer to arrive.
