Pros
Great if you are a white guy.
Cons
While attending a meeting of ~45 operations leaders from the entire company, 2 women were included and 3 minority males (from non- US subsidiaries), I asked one executive what the diversity and inclusion policy for the corporation was. His response, “we don’t have a diversity problem.” If you have a dissenting opinion and are female, it is best to keep quiet if you want to work here. Regardless of gender, you are encouraged to be on the band wagon or you get squeezed out. The culture of the company is stuck in the “1950’s good old boy” era. The new CEO is so busy executing his strategy and making a name for himself rather than focusing on the human capital right under his nose. If you want to be a key supplier to the company, it helps if you were buddies with a member of the corporate procurement team.
