Pros

Great position for someone trying to get their foot in the door and grow recruiting or sales career within a short timeframe. They have a great training program and a lot of resources to develop yourself. There is uncapped commission and good bonus structures, especially as you start hitting contests. There are some great people in the company overall. There are plenty of tools/technology invested to make sourcing and finding candidates much easier than most other agencies. The name brand recognition goes a long way in recruiting/sales. T

Cons

AC. Review Short list if you don’t feel like reading: toxic leaders, bad place for females or minorities who want to be leaders, moms who want to spend time with their kids, or anyone else who doesn’t want to work 60hr weeks for the entirety of their career here. I’ve been with the firm for almost 9-10 years, have hit numerous contests, and been promoted. I also sacrificed my mental health and felt forced to prioritize this job over anything else important to me. You’ll regularly work 55-65 hrs/wk. You’ll be expected to reply to texts and check emails after hours, on weekends, on vacation and holidays. People are encouraged to come into the office when they aren’t feeling well. Leadership rushed to come back into the office during the pandemic, resulting in multiple COVID exposures across the country. Almost *every* female colleague in my office who starts a family ends up resigning less than 6-8 months after their first child due to the inflexible and over demanding work environment. The work environment/culture is full of toxic, misogynist leaders that is deeply systemic in nature. I saw back-door promotions happen during after-hours drinks, on the golf course, literally during an employee’s wedding reception. So, unless you’re in the ‘old boy’s club,’ it will take 200% more effort for you to get promoted. **Less than 5% of the executives or even local directors are female or minorities.** My director does not give me the support I need professionally or personally, despite repeated attempts asking them directly for help/guidance. Instead they gaslight me into it being my fault for not getting the right type of development or training to be successful. They only give me negative feedback, and make me feel undervalued and under appreciated. Due to all of the cons above I will be taking the great skills I have learned elsewhere hopefully sometime soon.
