Pros

Aston Carter really throws their Recruiters and Account Managers into the deep end, requiring a sink or swim mentality. Because of this you become prepared for almost anything relating to staffing or sales. A year or two at Aston Carter offers opportunities for problem solving, creative thinking, and strategic communication that it may take years to experience somewhere else.

Cons

The pressure to perform and expectations around personal sacrifice to boost performance metrics is not for everyone. Some people will put in 50+ hours per week and there are teams that require this commitment. The work-life balance is really determined by your team/manager and there is a lack of consistency.

Pros

Aston Carter provided excellent opportunities for professional growth, career progression, and leadership development. I had the opportunity to work with some of the largest healthcare and insurance clients in the country, build strong client relationships, and lead high-performing teams. The company offers strong training, a collaborative culture, and a performance-driven environment where hard work is recognized and rewarded. I was fortunate to work alongside talented colleagues and supportive leaders who helped me grow both personally and professionally.

Cons

Like many staffing and recruiting organizations, the environment can be fast-paced and demanding, with a strong focus on metrics and performance goals. Work-life balance can be challenging during peak periods, and processes can sometimes vary between offices or leadership teams. However, these challenges also create opportunities for growth and development.
