Pros

You learn a lot within the staffing agency and you’re overall expanding your knowledge on different skill sets and industries. The longer you’re there, the more responsibilities you are given that actually help you grow.

Cons

Not a lot of room for growth. You can either go into sales or stay in recruiting. They do told you that you could become a manger in the future but teams are super small so it wasn’t really an option. You need to put in a lot of time and work your first year to succeed. If you don’t you will sink but that is with every sales/recruiting job. Hours are long.. you work 50 hours a week but it’s encouraged to stay past 5pm. There is a lack of culture/diversity in the office. The pit was always super quiet and there was no energy whatsoever. I was never excited to be in office because of how quiet and boring it was. It’s a sales environment but it didn’t feel like it.

Pros

Aston Carter provided excellent opportunities for professional growth, career progression, and leadership development. I had the opportunity to work with some of the largest healthcare and insurance clients in the country, build strong client relationships, and lead high-performing teams. The company offers strong training, a collaborative culture, and a performance-driven environment where hard work is recognized and rewarded. I was fortunate to work alongside talented colleagues and supportive leaders who helped me grow both personally and professionally.

Cons

Like many staffing and recruiting organizations, the environment can be fast-paced and demanding, with a strong focus on metrics and performance goals. Work-life balance can be challenging during peak periods, and processes can sometimes vary between offices or leadership teams. However, these challenges also create opportunities for growth and development.
