Pros
Team that moves fast and can drive to a decision quickly. Good visibility into the future of the company over the next handful of years. Great in-office culture and perks. Super important mission and strong ties between the day to day work and the overall goals of the company. Good work is very visible to leadership and is appropriately celebrated. Great digital culture that fosters conversations about anything and everything with a nerdy level of analysis. *Great* office space.
Cons
Typical start-up pains (which for a company who is approaching Series D and has been around for 7 years should really make a priority of rectifying). Whiplash as plans change rapidly but information isn't properly distributed throughout the company. Senior management that is currently going through the pains of delegation as we grow past 300 employees. Increased occurrence of "fire drills" due to both of the above. Again - nothing out of the ordinary but definitely things to keep in mind.
