Pros

My experience at the company started out very positively. The initial leadership team was supportive and fostered a strong sense of community and teamwork. However, a recent change in management has led to a significant shift in the work environment. The new leadership style has unfortunately resulted in a decline in team morale and a departure from the collaborative culture I initially enjoyed.

Cons

A significant challenge within the company stems from a lack of transparency from the leadership team. Decisions are often made without clear communication, leaving employees feeling disconnected from the company’s overall strategy. There is also a tendency for leaders to consistently reference their past experiences at previous companies, which can come across as dismissive of the current team’s culture and expertise. This leadership style has unfortunately contributed to a difficult work environment where some employees appear to be focused on individual success rather than collaborative teamwork, making it hard to build a strong sense of trust. The resulting high employee turnover is a clear indicator of these underlying issues and should be a point of consideration.

Pros

Fine enough coworkers to be around

Cons

Horrendous corporate staff. Overly aggressive marketing for customers that clearly don't seem to actually care to buy anything. 90 day no question return policy means customers buy things constantly and return them even faster. Terrible inbound freight allocation, dozens of the same item are sent on each and every truck that do not sell. Overpriced, ugly, and uncomfortable furniture that sits and fits for months on end. Corporate will tear you a new one for not getting enough customers to sign up for ad bloated emails and text marketing, while also pushing a credit card with terrible benefits from a scummy bank. Will be out of business before the end of the decade.
