Pros

25% Employee discount on all items (even clearance) & can be given to friends & family. Great Co workers. Really neat products & items for every budget. Great sales & sometime special Employee discount specials.

Cons

UNDERSTAFFED!!!! Way too much work for only 3 people (1 manager, 1 cashier & 1 person on the floor). For the workload they need to schedule more people to work each shift. They should over schedule that way if someone does call in then it won't affect productivity & customer service. Instead they schedule 4 people and then 2 people don't show and have to call people to come in & work. The store is always a mess. It's very stressful to come in at 5:00pm and see that there are 15 carts of stuff to be put back and only 2 people to do it. Also frustrating when you see that the pillows are laying on the floor. The company doesn't accept suggestions from employees or customers. They seem to be set in their ways on how the company should be run. Oh and did I mention that they only pay $10hr but expect 1 person to do the job of 4. Not worth it!! Employees quit due to feeling overworked & undervalued!! I wish I had never started working there.

Pros

Fine enough coworkers to be around

Cons

Horrendous corporate staff. Overly aggressive marketing for customers that clearly don't seem to actually care to buy anything. 90 day no question return policy means customers buy things constantly and return them even faster. Terrible inbound freight allocation, dozens of the same item are sent on each and every truck that do not sell. Overpriced, ugly, and uncomfortable furniture that sits and fits for months on end. Corporate will tear you a new one for not getting enough customers to sign up for ad bloated emails and text marketing, while also pushing a credit card with terrible benefits from a scummy bank. Will be out of business before the end of the decade.
