Pros

Generous Discount, my direct management does their best to provide a decent work environment. I can tell they try to operate in fairness and integrity, my specific store has worked well with my schedule

Cons

Often short staffed, high turnover, lacking in proper tools/equipment, unorganized, low pay, no opportunities for real growth, lack of proper training, no real appreciation or care for employees, poor company culture, no values, massive retail waste (perfectly good merchandise being trashed when it could be donated to those in need), no regard for true safety during global health pandemic, careless and environmentally irresponsible. All of this is a result of what is trickling down from the "top."

Pros

Fine enough coworkers to be around

Cons

Horrendous corporate staff. Overly aggressive marketing for customers that clearly don't seem to actually care to buy anything. 90 day no question return policy means customers buy things constantly and return them even faster. Terrible inbound freight allocation, dozens of the same item are sent on each and every truck that do not sell. Overpriced, ugly, and uncomfortable furniture that sits and fits for months on end. Corporate will tear you a new one for not getting enough customers to sign up for ad bloated emails and text marketing, while also pushing a credit card with terrible benefits from a scummy bank. Will be out of business before the end of the decade.
