Pros

Most coworkers are friendly and the store manager was one of the best to work for in my opinion. She’s hardworking and invests her time into you. Flexible scheduling, was always able to request the days off I wanted

Cons

Low pay, new employees got brought on at higher pay and associates got paid higher than key holders even the more tenured and hardworking ones; the director promises raises and switching off weekends so each key holder would at least get a weekend off each month but nothing but empty promises, the director also leaves early and never closes on the nights (even though she schedules herself as if she is) she’s supposed to when managers are required to close at least once a week (from what I heard), some of the associates have spoken up about being treated unfairly as well and discussed many red flags throughout their time there (management switching up what they promised them, management trying to warp their personality comparing them to other workers, etc) so many associates no call no show weeks in a row which punishes the workers that do show up adding tasks to their plate as if working in a 100k square foot building with only 4 people isn’t a lot already, again-the director doesn’t want to do her part by firing them and giving them too many chances, of course, that’s not her problem since she never closes.

Pros

Great Customers and coworkers. The products we affordable and great quality and I loved doing the visual Merchandising changes for the wall decor and home organizations. We really had a great team we provided great customer service and the local real estate loved coming in for assistance

Cons

The miscommunication between the upper management and the store level management wavered. We went over 8 months without a Store Director. High labor demands and lack of support led to a high turnover rate and a toxic work environment. Pay isn't commensurate with responsibilities.
