- Great discount - Organized and well-structured - Competitive pay - Team leaders, sales floor manager, and assistant manager are all really nice and helpful - Love the company mission and values
Cons
- Management is pretty strict, they expect a lot out of you - The constant push of selling Athleta Cards to customers who really don't want them - General manager is really strict, doesn't try to get to know you on a personal level, and can be quite mean. Constant criticism, most of which is unnecessary - They constantly expect you to come in early, stay late, or take extra shifts - Almost no training for new hires. They just throw you into the business and it's pretty stressful trying to learn everything yourself - Since it's part of a large corporation things get very complicated and non-personal - Basically no advancement opportunities - I usually left work feeling unappreciated
