Pros

Doesn't require experience or college degree; only high school diploma or equivalent. A lot of time spending one on one with patients. If you're going into the Physical Therapy field like me, you get a lot of experience in the field. Everyday you witness growth in a patient and you feel good about it.

Cons

Barely any coverage when I need time off. Annual raise is a couple cents per hour. Almost the same job as a PTA except you don't get paid nearly as much because you don't have a degree.

Pros

Great hands on experience compared to other clinics. Heard that at other clinics, aides just clean and 'make the clinician's life easier' but at this location if youre willing to learn and take initiative, you can assist patients through their exercises under supervision of the licensed therapist

Cons

The only thing is the pay, but it's an entry level job so makes sense why.
