Pros

Experience for PT school Treats patients with care

Cons

This company is so full of it, I can honestly say I chose Athletico because di heard they treated people like family, well yes and no. The ones who treat you with respect are the recent grads. Most of the PTs are great, but the amount of things they depend on you to do for the amount of pay I feel is not worth it, look at the numbers. Athletico is low on PTs and aided for a reason. This company has become all about numbers and making the big guys get more money. They treat the PTs like slaves and not to mention the aides. They depend on the sides WAY TOO MUCH some honestly will only have two patients and make you work with one patient the whole time. While they are no where to be found, I never cared for that but I do when they have you working with 4 patients and theirs 6 therapists all asking for the help of 1 aide. The one thank you that would make it worthwhile was the holiday parties because that was the only thank you gift aides ever got. We don’t get paid enough to survive the amount that’s expected which is why people leave constantly. Yes you treat your patients well because you have people who love what they do to help others but you don’t help your staff.

Pros

Great hands on experience compared to other clinics. Heard that at other clinics, aides just clean and 'make the clinician's life easier' but at this location if youre willing to learn and take initiative, you can assist patients through their exercises under supervision of the licensed therapist

Cons

The only thing is the pay, but it's an entry level job so makes sense why.
