Pros
The only thing I really loved about working for this company was that I got incredibly lucky and worked in a clinic with a wonderful facility manager. The atmosphere of the clinic was great, and he was always so upbeat and understanding of life circumstances. Always came at obstacles with a positive attitude. I wish he was my manager everywhere I go. Also, the benefits were pretty good.
Cons
Sadly, having such a great manager doesn't make this job enjoyable. The company has a poor scheduling model that heavily relies on the help of aides/techs, and when there's a labor shortage, those are hard to find. More often than not, the person in this position is expected to wear multiple different hats and take on a lot of different roles when staff is short. I am consistently pulled away from my admin work to help out with patients when the therapists are busy working with another. This is because patients are scheduled way too close together in order to drive up numbers. It was incredibly frustrating to work multiple different positions and not get compensated fairly. Also, when I got COVID, they did not provide any sick pay of any kind! I was out for a week and not paid a dime. They do not care about their employees.
