      Good position to work for part-time/in- school to become PT/PTA - Rehabilitation Aide/Physical Therapy Technician Athletico Employee Review

      Pros

      It's flexible! My supervisor always made sure that the hours I selected were doable and fit into my schedule. I was in school at the time I was working this position, and they always told me to put school first. They also allowed me to add on hours to my week if I had the time. They also cared about my mental/physical health, and if I needed to take a day or few days off, they allowed me to.

      Cons

      It's only part-time, if you're looking for full-time/more pay you'll have to look elsewhere. When I was there, we were a bit understaffed with rehab aides. When there's only 2, you'll split the whole day, which the clinic runs from 7am-7pm. If you're wanting to work more hours then yes, this is good. But if you're a student, this can be tricky.

      Pros

      Great hands on experience compared to other clinics. Heard that at other clinics, aides just clean and 'make the clinician's life easier' but at this location if youre willing to learn and take initiative, you can assist patients through their exercises under supervision of the licensed therapist

      Cons

      The only thing is the pay, but it's an entry level job so makes sense why.

      Pros

      Having a good clinic with good colleagues and management will make this job feel great! The jobs aren't super hard, and the patients are very entertaining and sweet.

      Cons

      Bad management/colleagues or a horrendously busy schedule can break the entire experience.
