Pros

Supportive environment: Most coworkers and supervisors are kind, helpful, and team-oriented. They will chat with you when there is downtime. Learning opportunities: you gain valuable hands-on experience with patient care, treatment plans, and physical therapy exercises Engaging work: when the clinic is busy, the pace is energized and the tasks are meaningful. Professional development: exposure to clinical documentation, healthcare procedures, and patient interaction strengthens relevant skills for future healthcare roles.

Cons

No full-time position for Aides. Inconsistent culture: A few staff members can be impatient, dismissive, or unkind, especially when approached with questions or when mistakes are made. Downtime: There are often slow periods or dead time that can make shifts feel long or less engaging. Limited upward mobility: Depending on the location and your role, opportunities for advancement or new responsibilities may be limited.

Pros

Great hands on experience compared to other clinics. Heard that at other clinics, aides just clean and 'make the clinician's life easier' but at this location if youre willing to learn and take initiative, you can assist patients through their exercises under supervision of the licensed therapist

Cons

The only thing is the pay, but it's an entry level job so makes sense why.
