Pros

Great ground training for working around various aircraft. You can meet billionaires and famous people (even a pilot who used to fly Air Force One!)

Cons

Heavy workload; passenger bags are frequently well over the 50 lb weight limit mentioned in the job description; little chance for any breaks; more often than not lunch breaks are missed due to operational tempo. Training was initially supposed to take six months but management expected it to be completed within a much more compressed timeline, leaving me feeling overwhelmed and overstressed. Immature and unreliable coworkers created a chaotic work environment by showing up hours late or leaving without warning, arguing with each other and damaging public-facing company property with little apparent disciplinary actions being taken.

Pros

Health insurance benefits are solid and the company has an established corporate structure. Pay is consistent, but those are the only notable positives.

Cons

Local management is ineffective, unprofessional, and visibly disengaged. Direct leadership lacked initiative, accountability, and basic communication skills, often appearing indifferent unless corporate oversight was involved. Expectations were unclear and inconsistently enforced, creating a disorganized and frustrating work environment. There was a noticeable reliance on surveillance rather than leadership. After receiving a final warning, camera monitoring became excessive and felt targeted, as if management was more focused on finding reasons to terminate employees than actually supporting improvement. The overall culture is unsupportive and transactional. Employees are treated as expendable rather than valued, which contributes to low morale, lack of trust, and high turnover. Stronger leadership at the local level is clearly lacking.
