Pros

October 2014 the company got rid of the president in an effort to detoxify the culture. The new president is making a large effort to make employees feel valued again.

Cons

Management still has some practices they need to uproot internally before things will truly be better. Time tracking will forever be the bane of agency work, and ABT still needs to figure out how they want to reconcile billing clients and quality work.

Pros

They pay reasonably well and allow work from home.

Cons

Not as structured as I am used to, so it is hard to find work to do when it is slow, fortunately, this has not affected my wages.

Pros

The company stands out for its flexibility around employee time-off requests, which is greatly appreciated and contributes positively to work-life balance. Another significant positive is the strong team spirit; colleagues are supportive and consistently collaborate, creating a healthy team environment.

Cons

There are several areas where the company could improve: Intensive Oversight: The most prominent issue is the intense focus on monitoring employee activities, down to tracking each minute of the workday. This level of oversight often feels excessive and can be counterproductive. Rigid Management Approach: The management style leans towards being overly detail-oriented, sometimes focusing on minor aspects that can seem trivial. This approach can lead to a feeling of constant scrutiny. Inconsistent Directions and Processes: The lack of clear and consistent processes leads to frequent changes in directives, contributing to confusion and inefficiency in workflow. Limited Growth Opportunities: The company’s support for professional growth and development is limited. Compensation and Rewards: The current compensation structure, including the approach to wage increases and the absence of bonuses, does not align well with industry standards or the current economic context.
