Pros

-The upper level management is stable in capable - most have either been with the company or with in the industry for a long time. As a result the company is pretty well run from a financial standpoint. -Office is decent, if isolated

Cons

-Culture is a bit weird, this doesn't feel like a company in NY, has more of a middle american vibe. Possibly due to the connection with the military among some of the senior staff. -salary/other compensation not great -Lack of transferable knowledge for other jobs - how many other airlines are you really going to work at in your career? Unless you never want to leave it doesn't make sense to invest a lot of time here. Shockingly little vacation time/holidays - If you're not going to pay people you could at least give them a little more time off! There were days that even morgan stanley (the other company in the building) was closed and we were open. -Not a lot of room for growth as upper management is pretty entrenched -Generally boring work environment, colleagues aren't very social.

Pros

I loved working for Atlas Air worldwide. Too many pros to count but I’ll try: Got to travel the world! Training was awesome! Met amazing people! Met amazing military members!! Got paid to do it!

Cons

Could not be the best fit for an older person or someone with a large family (although still doable with Luanda flight schedules)!

Pros

Not a lot of pros I could think of

Cons

It's a very chaotic place. The company likes to outsource services that employees need. They dont seem to care about the quality of services given as long as its the cheapest. In the years that I've been there, I've never gotten more than 2.5% annual raise. Mgmt will always have an excuse why you couldn't get the maximum 3%.
