Pros

-First promotion not difficult (because they hire you at one grade below their desired level), but opportunities limited after that. -Started as a relaxed, casual, West Coast style work environment. -Started as a meritocracy—work hard, rewarded well. -Good initial pay, but doesn’t catch up with market.

Cons

-In recent years, it has turned into a stiff, East Coast style work environment. Increasingly restrictive personnel policies. -Strong emphasis on presenteeism. Coworkers often make complaints to management about other coworkers for the most trivial things. -“Yes” people get promoted. People who offer feedback don’t. -Local management not open to new ideas. Highly restrictive work culture, lots of politics. -No flexibility or accommodation in working hours or telecommuting arrangements -Performance review system is bogus. All performance scores are assigned and approved by all levels of management and HR without your input. You can only agree or disagree with the review when it comes back to you.

Pros

I loved working for Atlas Air worldwide. Too many pros to count but I’ll try: Got to travel the world! Training was awesome! Met amazing people! Met amazing military members!! Got paid to do it!

Cons

Could not be the best fit for an older person or someone with a large family (although still doable with Luanda flight schedules)!

Pros

Not a lot of pros I could think of

Cons

It's a very chaotic place. The company likes to outsource services that employees need. They dont seem to care about the quality of services given as long as its the cheapest. In the years that I've been there, I've never gotten more than 2.5% annual raise. Mgmt will always have an excuse why you couldn't get the maximum 3%.
