Pros
I have been working at Atlatl for over three years and I am impressed by how far it has come. My first couple of years at Atlatl were very challenging due to my mixed feelings for the place, and the confused direction of the company’s path. But I’m not here to discuss Atlatl’s past, I’m here to discuss what Atlatl has become. The work we do is indeed challenging and fast paced, but it is rewarding to see the outcome of everyone's hard work and dedication. Everyone has a direct impact on the products they work on. Atlatl is filled with determined people that are full of energy and are willing to go the extra mile to get the work done. It is also full of great mentors that are willing to help and guide you in the right direction. Atlatl is a very different company now than it was when I first started. The direction the company is heading is much more focused. Since Marc-y Marc joined us as CEO, the management team has become much more transparent because we are all equally invested in Atlatl’s success. Atlatl has become a great place to work at and I’m happy to be a part of it.
Cons
My cons about Atlatl could also be considered pros based on your perspective. As I mentioned above, the work we do is challenging and fast-paced. When we choose to work nights or weekends it's because we are so invested in the product we are working on, and the team we are working with, that we all want to put in 110% to see it (and us) succeed. I will not lie, there are times where the work can be crazy and overwhelming, but that’s what makes Atlatl a great place to learn and grow. If you are the type of person that enjoys a challenge and desires the opportunity to feel true ownership in a product, then Atlatl is the right place for you.
