Met some wonderful people! Culture and high employee retention rate are admirable but do not extend to all departments. Benefits are top notch.
Cons
The income tax department has significantly higher turnover compared to the company as a whole. The average job tenure at the manager, senior, and staff levels, in current positions, is less than one year. Many issues in the income tax department, including, workflow management, inconsistent chain of command, lack of consistent direction/guidance, poor decision making/methodology changes and decision reversals after completion of work resulting in inefficiency, general confusion at the management level, virtually no training for lower level staff, lack of upward and downward communication, to name a few. Biggest takeaway, not all departments are created and/or maintained equally!
