Pros

The buildings get cleaned and the bins emptied

Cons

Long days 0845 - 7 pm when starting out, then it’s around 0830 - 6pm. Impossible targets to meet, management asking you to hit targets that they cannot meet, see 3 people in their home or 4 people per day every day then writing reports at a centre. Managers under ridiculous pressure to hit impossible targets that is then past onto the staff. No clinical updates in the healthcare professionals original profession, no breaks because you have to write or interview, rushing the toilet to get back to carry on, getting calls to see if your ready for the next person or when on home consultations needing to go into the centre for no shows. Zero common sense used, claimants accusing you of all sorts of ridiculous things putting registrations at risk, subjective auditing that is about as consistent as the breaks and promises they offer at interview, no morale, constant sickness from both staff and management, bickering and anxiety from staff. There is nothing positive about this job, turn over of staff is ridiculous and the back stabbing is shocking. I enjoyed my nursing for many years before stupidly trying this. Don’t do it !

Pros

Ability to work remotely is the main perk.

Cons

Salary is low for the role, and the company has not been stable for the last few years. Seems like more emphasis is on the overseas workforce than the US. You never know when you are going to get laid off.
