Pros
There are lots of different customers in various industries with a wide range of technology solutions in place. This means there are lots of opportunities. When working on projects there generally shortages of people so you can get the chance to take extra responsibility. Get the chance to work on high profile, large scale interesting projects.
Cons
Getting out of support roles is hard and can take some time. This can get frustrating. The projects are located across the country so you will need to travel to where the work is. This can mean being away from home for 4-5 days a week. When working on projects you don't have much line management or support, it is an automonous role.
