Pros

Remote / WFH for a majority of the positions.

Cons

Atos is following the well established IT business model of relocating any position not requiring US-based personnel to India. If you are from India, this is great news. If you are from any other country, I suggest not applying. If you do land a position, understand that your role is temporary- that is, for the duration of the contract. Do not expect raises, promotions or lateral opportunities. That is not the way this company works. It is a sales-oriented organization and engineers are a tool for fulfilling the contract. When the contract, role or function is done, so is the engineer. Liken it to a 1099 job with one of the body shops. US employment at Atos is not all that different. Also understand that this is a EU-based (France) company and it will espouse culture and values reflecting this. This includes political values. If that is your cup of tea, this will be comforting. Otherwise, it will be extremely annoying and one will be left wondering why Atos is focusing on political topics such as DEI and climate change when they are losing clients and market share and the business is in an overall contraction. As has been mentioned by other reviewers, the executive position has been a revolving door of new faces for the last 4 or 5 yrs and the company has no real direction. The good news is that WFH is the norm and the checks do clear. However, Atos has been known to do pay furloughs and forced unpaid vacations in recent history.
