Pros
Had exposure to a constant HC shift, which increased chances for promotion opportunities. Gained valuable interpersonal skills including presentation, analytical, and technical skills. Received access to free trainings and workshops, supporting continuous learning and professional growth.
Cons
Delayed recognition: Since it was an internal promotion, it took around 6 months (sometimes up to a year, depending on the manager) just to receive the official title. Without the title, there was no salary revision and it couldn’t be added to a resume. Workload pressure: Overworking was an understatement—the role required consistently working beyond regular hours. No compensation for extra effort: Overtime was not provided, and when raised with managers, the common response was “Please manage your time properly.”
