Pros

At Atrium Hospitality, I've found more than just a job; I've discovered a community driven by SPIRIT. From day one, I felt embraced by a culture that values Support, Passion, Integrity, Respect, Innovation, and Teamwork. The leadership's commitment to transparency is unparalleled. They foster an environment where open communication is not just encouraged but celebrated. Whether it's sharing company updates or seeking feedback, our leaders are always transparent, ensuring everyone feels informed and valued. But what truly sets Atrium apart is its dedication to its SPIRIT culture. Support isn't just a word here; it's a guiding principle that defines how we interact with each other and our guests. Passion fuels our drive to exceed expectations, while Integrity ensures we always do what's right, even when no one is watching. Respect is ingrained in every interaction, fostering a workplace where everyone feels heard and appreciated. Innovation is encouraged at every level, empowering employees to think outside the box and find creative solutions to challenges. And perhaps most importantly, Teamwork is the foundation of everything we do. We understand that we're stronger together, and that mindset shines through in our collaborative approach to every task. At Atrium Hospitality, I've not only found a company that values its employees but one that truly embodies its SPIRIT culture in everything it does. From transparent leadership to a supportive environment, Atrium Hospitality is more than just a workplace—it's a family where every member is empowered to thrive.

Cons

In today's individual-centric society, some may find it challenging to adapt to Atrium's holistic approach, prioritizing the collective over individual pursuits. While the emphasis on teamwork and community can foster a sense of belonging, it may clash with the prevailing culture of self-promotion and personal advancement. Those accustomed to a more individualistic work environment might find the shift towards a collective mindset initially uncomfortable or constraining.

Pros

Hotel discounts included for Atrium portfolio in addition to brand discounts Lunch is included for employees

Cons

Hotels are all showing their age and corporate leadership refuses to invest in needed upgrades for high performing hotels. Advancement opportunities are advertised but never realized. Leadership prefers to laterally move high performers to low performing hotels instead of letting them advance at their current property. Wages are stagnant AI implementation is counter intuitive to guest satisfaction goals. Guests don’t like having to get past chat bots and AI receptionists to speak with a person. Other cost cutting measures are also frustrating for guests (ie Thermostats that turn off when they don't detect movement in 15 minutes) Corporate Leadership seems to display a clear favoritism to Sales Departments. Refusing to remove poor performers and covering up for their mistakes while expecting other departments to pick up their slack. Leadership has been selling hotels off instead of renovating them Poor executive decisions are never owned up to and are pushed down to the property level for blame. (For Example setting unrealistic 2025 budget goals) Executive strategy seems to be forcing hotels to become leaner and leaner to maximize revenue while expanding corporate roles that don’t enhance value. This leads to frustrated guests and lower revenue
